An announcement by NASA on Monday of a deal with a private company in Houston has made real the possibility of paying for a trip to the International Space Station.  Now, it may run $55 million dollars per seat, plus other fees that are millions more, and food that costs $2,000 per person per day, but at least the possibility is there!

Plans are in the works for the first commercial, private paying crew to launch sometime after January 2022.  It will take the crew of four two days to get to the station, then they will have eight days on-board where they will conduct experiments and raise money for charity before heading back to Earth.

Take a look at this story below, as well as the press release by NASA.  The pictures alone are worth checking out!
