Our political leaders are batting around the idea of additional stimulus but cannot seem to agree on the composition or the amount.  We have seen an unprecedented level of stimulus already since the pandemic took hold in the U.S. this past March.  This article describes how the consumer is still spending, at least for now without additional stimulus.  So, if the consumer is spending, we may not need additional stimulus at this time.

The addition of government stimulus simply adds to our national debt that will eventually need to be repaid by our kids and grandkids!  Sometimes the best stimulus is government gridlock, where no additional spending gets passed simply because they cannot come to an agreement.  Looks like we might not need it at this time anyway~
